GarciaR: Caracas, Venezuela; I was born on September 17, 1980, in Caracas, Venezuela. Since I was a child I loved to draw, and my school notebooks were full of drawings. I was copying characters from video games and movies, even creating my own stories. My parents, realizing that I was more interested in drawing than in anything else, decided to enroll me in art courses to improve my skills. Upon completion of high school I decided to study Illustration at the Institute of Design of Caracas where I met the digital art. I am currently working as a freelance illustrator and I teach at a digital design institute, always focusing on conceptual art.
